I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and whilst it was a very traumatic time I was fortunate to be referred to Mr Hadad as my surgeon and the excellent team at RHH. He guided me through a difficult time with his kind, confident and patient manner. I had a mastectomy and immediate reconstruction and I'm the sort of person who likes to know facts, stats and information and he patiently answered all my questions with honest answers talking through options and possible outcomes. I never felt rushed during an appointment. Mr Hadad was always very confident and reassuring that things would be OK in the end and whilst I still have radiotherapy to go through I am pleased with the outcome so far. From talking to the staff he is extremely well liked and respected by his colleagues and has a reputation for his attention to detail and aesthetic outcomes. He is a skilful, professional and caring surgeon and I had complete trust in him. I am also extremely grateful to all the team at the Sheffield Breast Unit. Ruth
