Mr Siong Seng Liau is in my opinion the best Consultant / Surgeon I will ever meet his caring attitude is first rate and so is his team at Addenbrooks Hospital. not only after my surgery and while I was still in Hospital even now 2 years after he has still got that caring side and wants to know how I am doing. I can only thank him and his team from the bottom of my heart for their excellent expertise in saving my life and giving me a few extra years with my family. One thing I would love the NHS do is provide more good people to staff the wards at a level that I found on Ward M4 my hat goes out to them all. May Their God be with them always.

Mr Liau is a very busy doctor but he listened to me regarding to the concerns and questions I had before and after the procedure. Mr Liau reassured me that I could contact his clinical nurse team in case I come across problems regartong to the future surveillance appointments. As I'm a curious person/patient, I would have loved to see some of the footage of robot assisted procedure by Mr Liau.

I was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer 5 years ago. As a GP with 35 years of clinical experience I was aware of all the potential problems and unfavourable likely outcome. Mr Liau listened to my concerns and made every effort to allay them. He took the trouble to phone me personally on New Years Eve to say he had a cancellation for 2 Jan and operated on me then. He and his whole department provided first class care throughout my hospital spell, and he went way beyond the call of duty often checking on me late in the evening and providing me with details of a recent NEJM article on post operative Chemotherapy which proved sucessful. My wife will always be in his debt for the way he phoned her late at night, obviously exhausted at the end of a long and difficult proceedure, to reasure her that the operation had been a sucess.

My experience with Sion-Seng Liau and his team was exceptional. They were all kind, detailed, thorough and provided exceptional care, information and kindness. It was a lovely experience on every level. I cannot thank the team enough. My life is already vastly improved within the first week post surgery. Deepest thanks to all at the Rosie Hospital Day Surgery unit.

Mr Siong Seng Liau has done a great job; I had the operation on 19.05.2023 and the aim of the operation was to correct unfortunate outcome after eight operations in Germany where I spent 103 days at hospital. German doctors thought I had big problems to survive, and now all due to the high skill of the best surgeon (it is definitely my opinion) I am back to life recovering well. There are no words really to describe my appreciation for his devotion and talent. THANK YOU, MR. LIAU, THANK YOU SO MUCH. Mrs L Chandler-Smith
