A firm, precise handshake. A clear, focused mind. It may be a difficult choice to proceed or not with surgery. If it’s inside your head, he should be the one there. Mine was elective surgery (now 15 yrs back) for post trauma epilepsy. No more seizures, no meds. And, My ability to remember has been restored.

I had a discectomy and decompression performed by Mr Stapleton almost 10 weeks ago and I feel amazing. Mr Stapleton and his secretary Karen Mortimer were caring and professional throughout the whole process. Even though I’d had a consultation with Mr Stapleton a few days earlier, he personally phoned me to explain things again and was able to put my mind at rest. I’m only 64 and am now able once again to be active without pain. I cannot recommend Mr Stapleton highly enough.

I had surgery performed by Mr Stapleton on September 4th 2024 at Parkside Hospital in Wimbledon and now 6 weeks later I would like to leave my review. Having been terrified of undergoing any back surgery Mr Stapleton and his Private Secretary Karen Mortimer were attentive, kind and unhurried with my decision and recovery. I am totally pain free after 6 years of constant pain and eternally grateful for Mr Stapleton and his teams expertise.

I had a lumber laminectomy in early August and almost six and half weeks ago, I thought this the most appropriate time to write a review. As I am 78 years of age and never undergone an operation, I was so anxious about the operation, however, Mr. Stapleton calmly and skilfully explained the procedures, which reassured me greatly. Furthermore, his private sectary Ms. Karen Mortimer, as an experienced health care professional herself, further assured me of what to expect. Mr. Stapleton, a brilliant surgeon with great skill and experience carried out the operation successfully with the assistance of his medical team at the Wimbledon Park Hospital. I am now recovering well. Apart from his skill, his bedside manners were exceptional. He came to see me on his day off following the operation, this demonstrates his commitment and care towards his patients.

I had a craniotomy in December for a benign meningioma. Mr Stapleton was truly amazing, from the first meeting when he told me in detail the procedure, his calming voice and excellent bedside manner. I had every faith in him doing the removal of the tumor. I was discharged two days later and went from strength to strength. In four weeks I was back to my fitness and running and working again nannying. I could not recommend him enough. He is a truly wonderful surgeon and I’ve had no problems since the operation, healing well and headache free. Thank you so very much.

Mr. Stapleton is truly AMAZING! He took care of my mother's back stenosis which she has been suffering with for years when she got to the point where she was in excruciating pain all the time. I am so grateful to have found such a brilliant surgeon, as well as a kind, caring and compassionate doctor. I am based in the US and he and his team helped me set up all the necessary details of the operation for my mother. She is doing so well only a few days out of surgery. I highly recommend Mr. Stapleton and his team. I can positively say that you would be in the best hands under Mr. Stapleton's care.

This man is not only a life saver but a true value to the medical world. His time and understanding has left my trust in his work beyond anyone I can think of and mention. My son has been given a second chance of life and his complicated Brain cancer has seen his complications grow to the point his next surgery will be with Mr Stapleton and I have great hope that all our worries will be cleared by this miracle worker.

It would not be untrue of me to say that Mr Stapleton and his team not only saved my life, but quite literally gave me a new lease of life. I was very unwell for years with a pilocytic astrocytoma, which Mr Stapleton and his team successfully removed Dec 2018. I am now fit and healthy 25 year old and enjoying my life, thanks to them. He is a compassionate and respecting neurosurgeon who is worth his weight in gold. I would highly recommend him and his team to anyone.
