I received bilateral radiofrequency ablation for my varicose veins in august, as well as phlebecotomies and sclerosing agent injections. Mr Hobbs was friendly and professional and explained the procedures carefully. His theatre team were also professional but ensured a friendly relaxing atmosphere that put me at ease. I was pleased with the results and after my recent check up Mr Hobbs explained that further improvement would be seen in the smaller superficial veins in time. I would highly recommend this procedure expect some discomfort, but to more older traditional varicose vein procedures this is a vast improvement.

Mr Hobbs is an outstanding surgeon. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of my surgery. His explanation of the clinical problems on diagnosis was very clear. Above all, his patient responses to questions during the recovery phase was really excellent. I could not have asked for more.

I had varicose veins in both legs, so I decided to have them treated privately, and I am so glad I did! The results are amazing! I cannot thank Doctor Simon Hobbs enough for his excellent work! You cannot tell I ever had anything there on my legs! I had them removed at Nuffield Wolverhampton, and can I just say all the staff I encountered were lovely and attentive, whether that be when I had my first appointment, my surgery and check up appointments afterwards. I would highly recommend Doctor Simon Hobbs, as he did a wonderful job removing my veins, and I am so happy with my results! Thank you very much for your time, guidance and expertise! Much appreciated!

I would certainly recommend Mr Simon Hobbs for any vascular surgery. I attended his clinic at The Royal Newcross Hospital at Wolverhampton, and received excellent service, from the time l first seen his team, then l met Mr Hobbs and he then went through the treatment l was going to receive. Then in January l went to have my precedure performed. The tea were great, and even serinaded me, that put me at ease. The procedure lasted about one and half hours. My surgery went very well indeed Thankyou to Mr Hobbs and team.

I was treated by Mr Hobbs in October 2019 for varicose vein treatment, he fully explained the procedure I would be having and how I would feel afterwards. Everything he told me was 100% accurate, at the time of the consultation I thought he had played down the procedure and how much pain I would be in afterwards but this was not the case, I had no pain and didn't need to take any pain relief and only felt mild discomfort. During the procedure I was kept chatting by a lovely nurse who stayed with me throughout, the whole process took about 1 hour for both legs and the relief it has given me is amazing, I hadn't realised how much the discomfort in my legs was disturbing my sleep until I now find myself sleeping all night without waking. I would not hesitate to have this procedure done again should the need arise.
