On Sunday 17th November I sat in my hospital bed, a little melancholy and in reflection as the ashes of both of my parents were being scattered by the R.N.L.I at sea, in Eastbourne.
Without the man standing in front of me, I could well have been joining them.
I would like to endorse the sentiment of the last patient review.
If the NHS needed a role model for Patient Care, for Insight, Empathy, Holistic Medicine and whole list of other fine attributes, it must be this man, Mr Simon Evans.
He has helped me win this battle and is now building my strategy to win the rest of my war.
It has been a 25 year battle for me with Urology oriented problems. This Consultant has impeccable credentials and my onward journey is being mapped by him.
Thanks are not good enough, but my faith and confidence in Mr Evans could not be higher.
My gratitude to his supporting team has to be registered.
