On Sunday 17th November I sat in my hospital bed, a little melancholy and in reflection as the ashes of both of my parents were being scattered by the R.N.L.I at sea, in Eastbourne. Without the man standing in front of me, I could well have been joining them. I would like to endorse the sentiment of the last patient review. If the NHS needed a role model for Patient Care, for Insight, Empathy, Holistic Medicine and whole list of other fine attributes, it must be this man, Mr Simon Evans. He has helped me win this battle and is now building my strategy to win the rest of my war. It has been a 25 year battle for me with Urology oriented problems. This Consultant has impeccable credentials and my onward journey is being mapped by him. Thanks are not good enough, but my faith and confidence in Mr Evans could not be higher. My gratitude to his supporting team has to be registered.

Mr Simon Evans is the loveliest genuine caring consultant. He explains everything in easy non clinical language. He listens to your concerns and makes you feel you are in the safest of hands. I had my left kidney removed due to a cancerous tumour in 2018 and I had an easy recovery with no real pain just the obvious post op discomfort that was controlled easily with pain killers. Im now fit and healthy and living life I have regular CT scans and get followed up by the Urology cancer support nurses. I had a very positive experience and would highly recommend Mr Simon Evans for all of your Urology care. He is the best in his field along with his colleagues. He saved my life.

Really impressed with Simon Evans and his approach and care of my dearest friend recently diagnosed with Bladder Cancer. He is A Consultant who is approachable and direct whilst being utterly human along with all his team. Notably Malcolm Thornton. A hugely upsetting and worrying time was turned into a surprisingly positive experience. As my friend continues to undergo treatment he is reassured he is being looked after by the very best.
