From the moment i first met Dr Ellis at KIMS hospital i knew i had made the right choice on both fronts. From the off Dr Ellis was very professional. He gave me a operation date there and then (was even brought forward 2 weeks). The manner in which everything is run/organised at KIMS cannot be faulted. From meet and greet at the entrance, to reception, having my bloods done and the day of the operation, everything runs smoothly. On the day of the op i was booked in and taken to my room in double quick time & made to feel at home. I was met by the physiotherapist, the anaesthetist and the nurse on regular occasions before being taken down to the operating theatre just over an hour after arrival. The aftercare was also great. I’ve been kept informed via letters and the online lifebox system they set up for me. The whole team at KIMS makes it the best possible experience, and one that I cannot fault. So glad I decided to go private.

I was seen relatively quickly by Mr Ellis who was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and professional throughout - from the initial consultation, follow up letter to my GP, through to the surgery and discharge. He was concise with the diagnoses and explained clearly what the surgery would entail including potential risks. He rang my partner when I was in recovery to let him know I was out of surgery, which was a nice gesture. I was operated at the Spire Alexandra Hospital and found all staff incredibly friendly and helpful.

Dr Ellis was amazing with me, took the time to explain every detail of my knee surgery and what would happen. Nothing was to much trouble and had the patience to answer all my questions and was very reassuring. On the day of the op he made sure I was ok and even phoned my wife after the op to let her know all went ok. Could not recommend dr Ellis highly enough.

Mr Ellis carried out a knee arthroscopy for me recently. Pre-operative discussions were lengthy and very informative, which provided me with all the information that I needed before proceeding with the treatment. The treatment on the day of the procedure was very efficient, with all parts of the process being fully explained throughout my brief stay in hospital. The operation was successful, I have recovered quickly and my follow up appointment with Mr Ellis was carried out last week. The whole process was managed professionally with excellent communication throughout. Mr Ellis's communication was first class and he makes you feel as if you are the only patient he is focused on when he's speaking to you. I would thoroughly recommend Mr Ellis.
