Mr Blackburn saved our daughter’s life in the early hours of her 5th day of life. He was the first person to give us any hope that day, and he got her back to us alive and ready to thrive. His dedication, kindness and expertise over the coming weeks is something we think about often. A safe pair of hands, a compassionate heart, and ever available to reassure, answer questions, and to soothe weary and worried patients.

We had an outpatient appointment for our 23month old regarding an abdominal hernia, Mr Blackburn provided a very kind, caring & understanding consultation and explained everything really clearly and listened to all our queries. There was a very calm atmosphere during the consultation which was reassuring for our little boy. We also didn’t feel in anyway rushed during the appointment.
