I found him to have a very warm nature. He asked my opinion, I did not feel at all coerced into my decision making. On the day of the operation I expressed my dislike of procedure to be used and they allowed me to chose a different option. I was seen at Nuffield Hospital Brentwood which is not given as an option

From pre op to post op Mr Shankar informed me clearly what the risks were and what to expect before and after my hip replacement operation. The service I received from him was fantastic and I would definitely recommend him to anyone on know. Thank you

I have been seen by Mr Shankar on loads of occasions. Having both hips replaced by him. An absolute brilliant surgeon and informed me of every step that was required. He has completely got rid of all my pain and my life is now fruitful again. I cannot complement Mr. Shankar enough.

Mr Shankar, listened to me.. He was very approachable and caring. He talked me through options open for me, but I decided to have the full knee replacement. On the day of the surgery, he spoke with me prior to the operation. And assured me of any worries I had. I felt that I fully understood the expectation of the procedure and that the need to do excersises given by the physiotherapist after to gain full recovery.

My mother's 15 year old hip replacement gave way and after visiting A&E, it was Mr Shankar that operated and did her hip revision. She was, and still is, very pleased with his work. Now after 8 weeks she is walking without a limp and no pain. She's even getting up and down the stairs. She's told me how polite and pleasant Mr Shankar was during her hospital stay. I met Mr Shankar in clinic when my mum had her follow up appt and I too can testify to his good character. Even though it was a busy clinic he still took the time to answer my questions and explain what was involved in mum's operation.
