Mr Awad was extremely thorough when it came to making sure I was fit and healthy ready for the surgery, which was very reassuring. He was very friendly, reassuring me that I was in safe hands and totally put me at ease. Everyone in the hospital said I had the best of the best surgeon, that he was known for being very particular, great attention to detail, and that is why he is such a good surgeon. I totally agree.

Dr Awad inserted the gastric band for me today and the care I received from Dr Awad and his anaesthetist was phenomenal. I can’t recommend him enough. He explained the whole procedure to me beforehand and then before discharge he went through everything again. I never felt at any point that I was just a number, he was very attentive and explained everything so that I could thoroughly understand. He called my husband as the procedure was finished to inform him too. If you are looking for a fantastic bariatric surgeon the Dr Awad is definitely the one. The whole team involved really were amazing

Dr Awad was fantastic- I have since found 3 other people I know who have received similar treatment from him. Kind, experienced and trustworthy - I would 100% recommend him and his team - they were amazing! I never once felt like an annoyance- even with my 100 questions and going into surgery I was put totally at ease

From the first phonecall, consultations before surgery, at surgery and after surgery Dr Awad put my mind at rest by answering all my queries very honestly. I also found the he was very straight with what I should do to make the whole process work better ...such as recovery. I will never forget the actual operation and being in surgery for good reasons, the music, chit chat and laughter put my mind at rest but once again Mr Awad made sure the important point were understood and he remained extremely professional throughout x
