Mr Awad and his team at the Burcot Hall hospital were amazing. He explained the whole procedure and process simply and comprehensively beforehand and put me at ease on the day. He came to check on me very soon after I came round from surgery and early the following day. I have no problem recommending him from the very positive experience that I have had so far. He called me on time for my follow up appointment and gave some more great advice. From a surgery point of view I have recovered really well with no problems experienced. My incision scars have healed beautifully - this must be down to the skill of this fantastic surgeon! The aftercare support from the Tonic team has been second to none with regular phone calls and email check ins. There is always someone on hand for any queries - thank you to all of you. If anyone is thinking of booking through Tonic with Mr Awad, then go for it. I have nothing but gratitude towards him and the team. I’m four stone down in four months and looking forward to enjoying a slim summer and rest of my life! Thank you Mr Awad - you are amazing!!

I was super nervous about the procedure but the surgeon and his PA Sarah were terrific. Great communication before and after the Op. Nice catch up late March 2024 with the surgeon who was really pleased with my progress and gave me some helpful hints on ensuring I get more protein into my diet so the weight loss increases. Also, would like to praise the support at Tonic itself. I bumped my appointment a couple of times but they were patient and supportive of why I did. Post care was super too. Regular/daily checks post surgery. I’m 9 weeks post op now and have dropped close to 5 stone. Absolutely delighted I had it done. It’s given me my life back.

Cannot fault the care and attention I received from the moment I booked and ongoing. I done lots of research and was terribly anxious Mr Awad put me at ease straight away. My only regret is that I didn’t have it earlier! I had my surgery in December and lost just under 4stone I'm so pleased and can’t wait to see my journey unfold. Put me at ease as soon as I met mr Awad very caring and explained the whole procedure I was having even when I went in the operation the whole team were very caring the after care is second to none and if you have any questions or concerns you can ring anytime would recommend mr Awad to anyone wanting to have the procedure
