I had my VSG surgery back in November 2023. Mr Sherif Awad has a very calm and friendly manner that you don’t see with a lot of other surgeons. As a type 1 diabetic I had concerns on how the surgery would be handled, but Mr Awad was very knowledgeable about my condition and the care I would need; this put me at ease that I was in the right hands. The team at Tonic have been excellent too; very supportive and have answered all my questions.

I can't fault the service I received with Tonic and Mr Awad. I was so nervous and got worked up before surgery and Mr Awad fully calmed my nerves and I trusted him 1000%. My surgery went with no complications and my recovery went very smoothly. My incisions healed very neatly and I can barley see them now. Tonic have stayed in contact with me all the way through this process I have had my 1st appointment with Mr Awad since surgery today. I have lost 7st since November 2023 and I couldn't be any happier! I would like to thank Tonic and Mr Awad for giving me my life and confidence back.

What a doctor from rte first day we chatted I knew I wanted the surgery . I had Gastric sleeve surgery at Burcott Hall the staff there were outstanding too . Mr sherif Awad explains everything on day of surgery takes about a hour . Out the next day walking everything fine . 15 weeks on lost over 5 stone and got my life back . Wished I had it done years ago
