I can highly recommend Mr Awad if you’re thinking of having weight loss surgery, he is superb at his job, makes you feel at complete ease and so friendly. The aftercare is second to none. Mr Awad has changed my life and I will forever be in his debt.

I had a gastric sleeve with Sherif Awad in November 2022. I contacted him via Tonic & was operated on at Burcot Hall Hospital. Mr Awad was extremely knowledgable & professional. At my initial consultation he listened to me & advised accordingly. On the day of surgery I had complete confidence in him & his anaesthetist Nick. They are both experts in their fields. He continued to make sure I understood everything about the procedure until the second I drifted off. The next morning he came to my room to tell me how the op went & again explained everything in detail. I followed his strict aftercare programme exactly & had no problems whatsoever. I had a follow up call after 8 weeks by which time I had lost 4 stone. I cannot recommend Sherif Awad enough. If you are thinking about weight loss surgery there is no better consultant. I spent months researching consultants in the midlands & am so glad I chose Mr Awad.

Dr Awad literally changed my life. I cannot find enough words to describe how grateful I will be to this incredible Surgeon and his amazing team. From the first initial pre op consultation to post op I have been treated with such kindest in the most professional warm way. I will never forget the few seconds before I went under anaesthesia Dr Awad leaned in smiled at me and said ' don't worry Mel, I will look after you, you're in safe hands, I promise ' Dr Awad and his medical team absolutely couldn't do enough for me, they were understanding, supportive and encouraging. I went via Tonic to arrange my surgery with Mr Awad and from the first consultation I felt at ease. Communication throughout was fantastic, on the day of the surgery he took the time to meet me and explain the procedure and answer any questions I had. When I came round from surgery he was there to reassure me that all had gone well and again the next morning to discuss in detail. I have contacted Mr Awad since surgery with a couple of questions and always had a quick response. I would definitely recommend Mr Awad without hesitation.
