I met Dr Awad through Tonic Weight loss. I decided having the gastric band after struggling with losing weight for years. After my first visit with him my best option was for a gastric bypass due to other underlying health issues. It was the hardest decision of my life but Dr Awad made it so simple and his professionalism and experience of the surgery and also knowing he was going to be with me through it all was all the assurance I needed. I had appointments with other consultants who were only interested in you as a patient. Dr Awad made me feel at ease and explained clearly each weight loss procedure and what would benefit me for the future. I felt he was the only one who I could honestly trust to put me first. 2 months later it the best decision I have ever made thanks to Dr Awad.
