I went into A&E in February 2020 as i couldnt keep any food or drink down and had lost lots of weight and I was diagnosed as having Achalasia. I had lots of tests and was told I would have an operation performed by Sherif Awad. I was petrified but Mr Awads colleagues told me he was the best surgeon I could possibly have to do this op and they made me feel so much better.
I had the op on 5 March 2020 and was discharged 5 days later. The care I got before and after the op was wonderful. I have now put on a stone and feel and look like a new person
Mr Awad and his team did an amazing job and proberbly saved my life. I can never thank them enough. They are my heroes !!!
Anyone having an op with Mr Awad and team will be in the best possible hands
