I had a successful PRK operation for myopia on both eyes some 20 years ago at a different clinic. As my right eye started developing a bit of myopia again (only about -1.5), I went to see Dr Daya to see if I could be operated again and regain 20/20. He said it was no problem, he was very optimistic on his procedure's expected results, and he carried it out. The operation didn't go according to plans and left me severely long sighted (+3.5), as well as losing me the ability to read at short distance. I now have to wear one contact lens, whilst before I didn't. I went to see two well-established other professors (eye surgeons) for a second opinion and they both said it was madness to operate on me a second time for such a slight myopia, as it's very difficult to predict the outcome of a second laser eye operation. Daya never even apologised to me. He was clearly just interested in getting his thousands of pounds in fees for an operation that left me in a much worse state than before. I cannot recommend this doctor for either skills or trustworthiness.
