I needed bariatric (obesity) surgery because I was obese and starting to get other illnesses.
Mr Somers was recommended by the expert I consulted as being a national expert who trains other surgeons and has done thousands of these operations.
He talked me through the options. The surgery and (importantly) his anaesthetic colleague Dr Hasan were excellent. I had a good recovery and 48 hours afterwards took a 4 hour train journey home. The results have been excellent.
