I had my 2nd knee replacement by Mr Thiagarajah I had the same surgeon at my request as I have been thrilled with the results from my first knee replacement. I absolutely trust that he’s done another excellent job . I am now 9 days post op and recovering very well. No problems at all and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend 100%. You won’t be disappointed.

I received excellent care from Mr Thiagarajah. I had a hip replacement and was concerned about the operation as I am a double amputee. Mr Thiagarajah was able to put my mind at rest and the operation was a success. He and the physiotherapists have helped me to a speedy recovery, a lot faster than I expected. My life has improved considerably.

After being fobbed off for years because of my age I was finally referred to Mr Thiagarajah who on my first appointment said I needed a hip replacement. I had a full hip replacement in September i was home within 24 hours and have been pain free since. I was fully informed of what was going to happen at all stages, I would highly recommend Mt Thiagarajah

I’ve recently had total hip replacements on both my hips. One in December 2019, the other in August 2021. Mr Thiagarajah was my very talented consultant who performed both these surgeries. I was diagnosed with arthritis in both hips at the same time but chose to have have one done after the other. The length of time in between the surgeries was determined by covid 19, I wouldn’t have chosen any cancellation with any other consultant to lessen this time. Mr Thiagarajah chose to perform my first hip operation as an anterior approach (going in from the front). He had had much success with this approach and explained how the healing process can be lessened this way. I was amazed at how quickly I was up and about and pain free. I did in fact have the second one the ‘normal way’ (in from the side), only because of the length of time I had to wait for the op and the anterior approach requires a special theatre which was in high demand. Once again I was amazed at the speed of my recovery. Within a week I was down to one crutch, within two weeks I was crutch free. I did my exercises religiously as instructed and am now 100% pain free with no complications, both successful operations. I trusted Mr Thiagarajah from the start, during our first consultation I had a good rapport with him and appreciated his straight forward way of explaining things. I understood him and liked him as a person. He spoke to me very much as an equal with empathy and humility. Mr Thiagarajah is an extremely clever and caring consultant who has made two major surgeries a breeze. I cannot thank him or recommend him enough.
