I was lucky enough to have Mr Jaunoo involved when I recently spent time in hospital with a suspected duodenal perforation. He really goes the extra mile in managing his patients using the highest levels of knowledge and expertise to keep you fully informed and reassured. What really sets him apart is his dedication and his great communication skills. I have not experienced such excellent levels of care and support before and feel extremely fortunate to have done so. My outcome, prognosis and confidence going forward are so much the better. Can’t recommend Mr Jaunoo highly enough.

I was taken to A&E with severe abdominal pain. Mr Jaunoo and his team were on duty at the time. After having a scan it was identified I had a perforated bowel and sepsis. Mr Jaunoo introduced himself and explained to me that I had a perforation of my bowel and needed to have emergency life saving surgery. He explained what surgery he would be performing and the outcome of this. He gave reassurance to me and my family at a very traumatic time. Mr Jaunoo came to see me in HDU a couple of times after surgery and was so supportive and explained about the surgery he had performed and my recovery. Mr Jaunoo, you are a truly amazing, special and caring person who has given me a second chance of life. Me and my family are forever grateful to you. Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart.

I would like to thank you so much for taking the extra time in my nhs operation at Kidderminster When complications arose due to gallstone scarring and deteriorated gallbladder. You could have just decided to leave the laparoscopy and open me up but persevered and took time to do the job via laparoscopy. Therefore one week on I am recovering fast and pain free for the first time in many years.

For 5 years, I had to endure horrendous, often disabling, pain due to gallstones and a trapped bile duct. To be honest, I was losing faith in the NHS over it all, until Mr Jaunoo got on board. He confirmed that my situation was a ‘ticking time bomb’ and arranged for surgery. It turned out to be a fairly complex laparoscopic (keyhole) operation, but his many years’ experience — and his excellent team supporting him — meant open surgery was thankfully avoided. From the outset, Mr Jaunoo was informative and reassuring, and he seemed to have a genuine interest in getting me better. I was obviously nervous about the procedure, but I had complete faith in Mr Jaunoo.

I’ve since had a follow-up consultation with Mr Jaunoo, who checked the scarring, and listened to and answered any concerns, before discharging me. The NHS REALLY needs to have more people like Mr Jaunoo on its books. He is someone for whom I will always have a huge amount of respect and gratitude.

I contacted Mr Jaunoo while my son was ill. Not only did he respond immediately he did so while he was on annual leave. He went above and beyond to help us and we could instantly tell that he really cares about his patients! His knowledge seemed impeccable and I would not hesitate to recommend this incredibly caring consultant to anyone.
