Following diagnosis of a Basal Cell Carcinoma on the side of my nose i was naturally concerned that this would need corrective surgery to remove, more so for my preconceptions i had with regard to my appearance after invasive surgery that was required. Dr Anari thoroughly explained the procedure involved and allayed my fears to a significant degree without being dismissive to the risks involved in not having it removed. The subsequent surgery went better than i could have expected thanks to the skill of Dr Anari and his team. After some 2 months post-op i am now fully healed and the cosmetic effects are negligible to a level where many people remark they cannot see where the reconstruction has been carried out. The one thing that could improve the overall process would be to speak to a Doctor, after surgery on the recovery ward, to better explain the dressings and ointment application requirements in more detail. Thank you from a grateful patient.
