Just like the other survey of the consultant, I found Mr. Tadtayev straight forward, told me exactly what was wrong and what options I had to receive treatment.
I had to have an operation which he conducted and that proved successful but there were other things that needs to be dealt with and he was very much down to earth to explain what needs to be done and the options involved.

I felt very safe in the hands of Mr Tadtayev, previous to my kidney surgery he took the time to explain what was going to happen and I was very grateful that my recovery has been very quick and painless thanks to his skills.

From my first consultation with Mr. Tadtayev to present day the patient care has been superb. Mr. Tadtayev explains everything very clearly and happy to answer any queries or concerns without any hesitation. Profile
I am a Consultant Urological Surgeon with NHS practice at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
My specialist interest is in Uro-oncology. At ASPH, I am a member of the prostate diagnostic team and perform laser treatment of bladder tumours. I undertake open and minimally invasive surgery for kidney cancer and work closely with Frimley Park Renal Cancer Centre.
In addition to my uro-oncology interests, I offer the full spectrum of general urology care:
• contemporary interventions on the enlarged prostate (laser operations, Urolift implants, prostate artery embolisation, Rezum),
• management of lower urinary tract symptoms,
• treatment of tight foreskin and scrotal swellings;
• investigations of the haematuria (blood in the urine), elevated PSA and testicular lumps,
• treatment of recurrent urinary tract infections, urinary tract stones, men’s sexual health issues and chronic painful conditions of the urogenital tract,
• expertise in the management of nocturia (waking up to pass urine), which I approach from a multi-disciplinary perspective, working closely with medical colleagues to address this challenging-to-treat symptom.
Patient experience and high care quality are very important to me. At ASPH, I am the Urology Clinical Governance lead and work on developing clinical pathways for emergency urology care. A non-dogmatic approach, holistic assessment and shared decision-making form the cornerstones of my philosophy of patient care.
