My family have a history of knee problems. My husband, 2 sons and myself have all torn our Anterior Cruciate Ligaments and in the case of my sons, their cartilage as well. It seems we have genetically weak knees. It’s been a problem because we are all quite sporty and didn’t want this damage to cause a problem in the future. We needn’t have worried because Mr Trisha has come to our aid each time. He is very reassuring and genuinely wants to help you on the road to leading a full and active life.
In April 2018 Mr Paul Trikha performed knee replacement surgery on my left leg at
Runnymede Hospital Chertsey.
My prior consultations with Mr Trikha were very good and his explanations persuaded me to go ahead with surgery after a significant period of pain with my left knee.
It was adversely affecting my quality of life.
Today I signed off with Mr Trikha in a routine review and I am very pleased to report that my replacement knee has been a great success with no restrictions on my activities.
My experience is: Mr Trikha has done an excellent job backed up with good inter-personal skills.

I was in agony with a problematic knee when I first saw Paul Trikha who advised it was likely I needed a knee replacement at some point but currently I'm too young. He could have suggested surgery but encouraged me to try physio first to avoid surgery which was my preference. He put me in touch with a superb physio and I'm now walking pain free 95% of the time. I'm impressed because he guided me towards the best long term option for me which wasn't the most financially beneficial for him, he put his patients needs first.
Mr Trikha got me up and running again after a year of failing to recover from various ligament and muscle injuries. His experience shone through and he was decisive in his actions. He ensured I was seen quickly (on the same day!) by an MRI unit and introduced me to the best physio I've worked with. After a year without progress, worries of surgery were looming, but Mr Trikha got me back to fitness without any such procedures.
I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Trikha to anyone with a knee injury.
Mr Trikha gave me the confidence to opt for a knee replacement in spite of my having had fairly recent chemotherapy and also an 80th birthday! All went smoothly and now, after 12 weeks and many exercises, urged on by Mr Trikha and the physio Ben, I can walk without pain. My grateful thanks go to Mr Trikha for his skill and encouragement.
