Mr Trikha went through my MRI scan results and the treatment options with me in detail. I was extremely nervous about an operation but he went through everything and answered all of my questions. I am now a few weeks post surgery and my knee is feeling so much better. I would not hesitate to recommend him to any friend or family member - thank you Mr Trikha!

I saw Mr Trikha after a running injury, he examined my knee and suspected bone bruising and possible miniscal tear, I had some diagnostics and that’s exactly what it is, he recommended physio and if possible steroid injection if not settled. I am now a couple of months down the line and things have settled down. I liked the fact that Mr Trikha didn’t want to rush me into any surgery and I would definitely recommend him.

I tore my ACL in a skiing accident and went to see Mr Trikha to discuss my options. The appointment lasted barely 10 minutes and I felt as though I was being rushed out of the room before I'd even sat down. He conducted a cursory examination of my knee without even removing my trousers, and said he could do the operation the following week if I booked on quickly. I asked whether I should delay the surgery to do "pre-hab" which from extensive research appears to be one of the strongest predictors of long term success and he dismissed it as not being particularly needed. It wasn't until I got home that I realised he hadn't even told me what the surgery would be! I booked in a follow up call in which he answered some more of my questions, but the entire call felt like an inconvenience to him and after about 5 minutes I was directed to ask anything more to his secretary. In summary, I did not feel cared for at all, I did not feel listened to, and I did not trust that he wouldn't simply rush the surgery to get it done as quickly as possible. In the end I chose a different consultant and couldn't have been happier. The other consultant spent over an hour with me, did a thorough examination, took me through all the options clearly and slowly and explained everything he would do.

I had been suffering for over 10 years with knee issues but, in 2021, the problems became much worse and I was constantly in pain, doing a lot less exercise and the problem was affecting both my physical and my mental health. My daughter-in-law discovered Mr Trikha when she scoured the Internet and we arranged a meeting in late January 2022. I was very impressed with his approach as he asked me lots of pertinent questions, not just about what was wrong with my knee but also about why I thought I wanted to undergo an operation and how I thought it would help me in the future. I agreed to have the operation done privately and it was booked for just a few weeks after the meeting. I am so pleased with the results. I visited Mr Trikha, today, for another follow-up meeting and he was as ecstatic as I was at the speed with which I have healed, recovered my mobility and now have a "working knee". Especially as the operation occurred just 9 weeks ago. There is still more time for it to fully settle down by the surgery has left minimal scarring. My mobility is probably more than double what it was 4 months ago. I am back walking but have to re-build my leg muscle strength. Mr Trikha and the physiotherapist gave advice on activities that I could undertake to speed up the recovery further. The post-op period was initially quite hard as I had not been fully told about the level of pain to expect, the fact that I would have sleep-deprived nights and how long I would need to also stick to the proffered exercise regime (which I have done up till now). But, my overall feeling is that Mr Trikha, the physios and the hospital, generally, all did an exceptionally good job. I would thoroughly recommend Mr Trikha if you have a knee problem and feel like you want to get it fixed.

I am a knee specialist physiotherapist and an orthopaedic surgeon friend of mine recommended Mr Trikha to me when my 13 year old son ruptured his ACL. Mr Trikha is an extremely experienced paediatric as well as adult ACL surgeon. My son had his surgery almost 3 months ago. He is doing brilliantly and is already running. He is looking forward to returning to football and Tennis in due course. A long road but he'll get there. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Trikha. An excellent knee surgeon and a thoroughly nice chap!
