I’m so pleased that when I decided to pay for private care for my left knee that Paul Trikha did an amazing job I was diagnosed with Synovial Chondromatosis which needed to be removed to give me my quality of life back. Mr Trikha was very professional and explained to me what was needed to be done and that surgery would be the only options to me. After surgery I thought there would be intense pain, swelling and bruising. As when I’ve had surgery before on the same knee, I’ve always been in a lot of pain. There wasn’t at all. Within a couple of days I was starting to get about with minimal pain. After two weeks I’m able to walk and get about and looking forward to getting back on my bike. I would highly recommend Mr Trikha. He is honest with his opinion and what work needs to be done and what will happen to my knee in the future

I recently had a knee operation, Dr Paul Trikha did a great job with my knee operation. He explained everything to me in a clear manner. He was also kind and friendly. Wonderful experience with Schoen Clinic Wigmore Street London. Dr P Trikha was a wonderful surgeon, and staff was always helpful and kind. Especially nurse Nylah. She was very helpful and she’s assuring me that everything will be fine. I will definitely recommend the Clinic to all my friends and family. Thank you for all your support during my stay and the follow up for making sure everything is fine before discharging me. God bless

Paul Trikha was a very efficient and confident doctor, which helped to install me with sense of confidence about the surgery. I had a MPFL reconstruction- the procedure was clearly explained and laid out in a straight forward manner. Paul’s experienced and confident approach made the whole process run very smoothly. The surgery was a success and Paul scheduled check-ups throughout my recovery to ensure everything was going as planned. Can’t thank him enough

I’m 56 with a long history of knee pain (badly worn cartilage, floating debris and both inner and outer meniscus tares). I was apprehensive prior to my appointment with Mr Trikha as I really didn’t want to rush into a knee replacement. My fears were short lived, rather than jumping straight to a surgical solution, Mr Trikha suggested a steroid injection and a course of physio. This holistic approach was very refreshing, the following day I was completely pain free. 4 weeks on, no pain and I also have a long-term plan regarding my strength and fitness, I feel amazing and delighted. It’s was so refreshing to find private health care that isn’t about abusing your medical health care. The treatment I received from Mr Trikha was first class. I would defiantly recommend Mr Trikha to anyone that is suffering with their knees.

Ref: Consultant Mr Paul Trikha What do they say about good intentions to keep active? In early December 2020, I was playing a round of golf at my local course, tripped on some tree roots and fell quite awkwardly. My knee hurt for quite a while after, and when I tried to play golf again it hurt too much to bear. Multiple tears in the meniscus were suspected; a fairly nasty injury to suffer. My health insurance company gave me names of four consultants I could see, and I researched them all quite thoroughly. I kept coming back to Mr Paul Trikha at Schoen Clinic London, (also at Nuffield and Runnymede Hospitals, Surrey) as he is a knee specialist with extensive experience. I went to see Paul, and I found him to be a highly professional and wonderful individual. He is honest and open to the point of almost being blunt, which is what I wanted! He always used layman's terms with me and was totally open to discussion at all times. He recommended that I have an MRI scan on my knee to see exactly what the damage was. Only a few days after my first consultation, I was back again to share the outcome of the scans, and he said that, unfortunately, I'd need a total knee replacement, and sooner rather than later. This was not the news I was hoping for and I queried alternatives. After some discussion, Paul gave me a steroid injection, which might have been useful as the scan showed that I had extensive arthritis as well as a torn meniscus. He also removed the build-up of fluid from my knee and advised physiotherapy. None of these practices made noticeable difference to my knee pain. So, I decided it was time to take the final step and go for total knee replacement surgery. A further consultation with Paul was arranged quickly and he suggested a date in June with surgery at the excellent Schoen Orthopaedic Clinic in London. I felt much more relaxed in the knowledge that arrangements had been made so swiftly and efficiently. I was fully informed throughout the procedure from spinal anaesthetic through to pain management and after surgery physiotherapy; all of which had been discussed and structured by Paul Trikha as a key to full recovery. The aftercare consultations with Paul were also outstanding raising my confidence in a full recovery. From start to finish, I have had nothing but great care; everything has been terrific. Due to the excellent treatment from Paul, coupled with the quality physiotherapists he had recommended and, some hard work from me, I have every confidence that I will be back on the golf course by the end of the summer!
