I had a skiing accident in Geneva on the 10th of February, I flew back not knowing how badly damaged my knee was but it was extremely painful and swollen with also not being able to straighten. I had to have an emergency operation under trauma on the NHS. My knee had 3 fractures and I had also ruptured my ACL ligament very badly. I ended up staying in hospital for 5 days as my leg had to be also straightened. Dr Paul Trikha has done a great job on my knee with very small scaring, my leg is looking great and it is feeling far better than it was. I am now able to touch weight on my foot but still unable to bend and walk without my crutched. I still have a very long way to go but so far I am very pleased with the outcome.
