Mr Chaudhri is a highly gifted doctor.Modest unassuming and highly knowledgeable. He removed cancer from my transverse colon without stoma.

I had a shock diagnosis of colorectal cancer in 2018 at the age of 36. Mr Chaudhri was one of the first health care professionals I met following a CT scan to check the progression of the cancer. I was very nervous about the prospect of surgery but he put me at ease as much as he could. He was very open and honest about the options and what he felt in his professional opinion would be the best option in my circumstances. He was able to answer all of my questions and the surgery went very well and despite removing my entire large colon he was able to join the remaining small bowel which meant I haven’t had a stoma. My recovery was fantastic and it isn’t possible to tell I’ve had major surgery thanks to his skill and the advances in laparoscopic surgery. He has given me a second chance of life, I have had to make adjustments but I will be forever grateful that Mr Chaudhri was my consultant l. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing an expert in this area.

Mr Chaudhri explains things very well in a manner that is reassuring and easy to understand. He also takes time to listen to what you say and never comes across as someone who has better things to do. He is totally focused on his patient.
Profile
Mr Chaudhri is a general surgeon with a special interest in minimal invasive surgery and offers laparoscopic (keyhole) and robotic surgery for colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and diverticular disease. These techniques are associated with better cosmetic result, less postoperative pain and quicker patient recovery. Other surgical interests include the treatment of large complex abdominal hernias, newer operations for haemorrhoids, anal fistulas and fissures. He also undertakes joint surgery for complex and severe endometriosis.
