I had been in pain for almost 3 years before seeing Mr Vollans. I had had nerve tests and several rounds of physio and a number of injections none of which made much difference. After consultation with Mr Vollans and more injections it was decided that surgery was my last option. I had my radial nerve release operation on 31 July 2019 which was performed by Mr Vollans and Ms Grainne Bourke, three months on am recovering well. I have none of the pain that I suffered before and full use of my arm again and am hoping that my recovery will be complete in the next couple of months. I would like to thank Sam and Grainne for their wonderful care along with all the team at the Nuffield Hospital in Leeds.
