Simply the best, I think says it all.. Highly recommended. What a lovely, sincere consultant. Listened to every word in my consultation with no rush and explained clearly how he could help me. I had revision upper blepharoplasty and the results have far far exceeded my expectations.. The surgery staff were wonderful, chatty and jolly helping me through my operation. They all worked as an amazing team… sing their praises. Having made a mistake in the past I can’t tell you how pleased I am that I chose Mr Salvi for my surgery, not only for my results but I had a bit of a wobble over some stitches and he even rang me on a Saturday…. Nothing was too much trouble… I feel a very lucky lady today that I can smile with confidence…

I was recently under the care of Mr Salvi ( Consultant Ophthalmologist) for a particularly delicate procedure around my right lower eyelid. I found his initial diagnosis, plan thereafter, surgical procedure and aftercare all first class and efficient. Mr Salvi has a great skill in combining clear medical professionalism with great patient communication and I found this combination very comforting and reassuring. He is also efficient in the way he conducts his work never wasting time or getting bogged down in internal administration- the strategy for my treatment was always robust I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Salvi to others.

Prior to the surgery I was in trepidation because I had only one good eye, but I needn’t had worried. Mr Salvi was very approachable, listened to my concerns and put me at ease. He clearly is a very competent surgeon who cares very much about the welfare of his patients and I am entirely satisfied with the end result and would not hesitate to recommend him.

I would like to commend Mr Sachin Salvi and his team at the Thornbury Hospital for outstanding care given to me over the removal of cataracts in both my eyes and replacement lens. My eyesight has been transformed and I can now see better than I ever have before. Mr Salvi and his team were particularly sensitive to my needs as I suffer from claustrophobia ( and occasional panic attacks) and therefore did not relish the operations. The team did all they could to reassure me and the second operation was much easier for me than the second- A nurse was very helpful in supporting me through the operations. I was even able to discuss the ups and downs of the current Test Match with Mr Salvi during the operation ! Many thanks to all for care which is much appreciated. Chris

Mr Salvi is a very easy person to talk to and his depth of experience was invaluable in putting me at my ease before during and after my cataract surgery. He recommended a dual lens replacement for my cataract surgery to give me a good range of near intermediate and distant vision with a reduced need for spectacles. He is able to explain things in a manner that is easy to understand for a non medical person. All went well with the procedures and I would pleased to highly recommend him.
