Mr Khan provided an excellent treatment option for me when it was not clear what would be the best approach after many scans and seeing many other doctors. I would to thank him and his team for helping me and my family get through this difficult period.
Mr Khan has always done everything in his capacity to sort out mine & my family’s medical issues. We really appreciate his care and his thorough approach and will continue to turn to him for medical advice and help relating to his speciality or advise/referral to others.

Dr Khan first introduced himself to me in attendance with my children in a ward and he had a difficult task of advising me of my situation. In my humble opinion he did an excellent job and did not leave a stone unturned. He allowed us all to ask questions and he answered these opening and honestly. He explained fully my dilemma and I was under no allusion as to the critical state that I was in and given my personality I was very grateful for honesty.
When he left he had outlined all of the options and risks and although it was not definitive which way he was going to go he obviously was not aware fully until he opened me up when I had the surgery a week later. This proceeded and the next time I met Dr Khan was approximately 24 hours before the operation. He had gathered more information through the tests and was able to give a clearer picture. The two things I remember vividly were I had to be mentally and physically ready for this operation and I was able to convince Dr Khan that I was. His positive attitude throughout all of these consultations enabled me to put total trust in him and his team.
From the beginning to end the speed at which Dr Khan and the hospital reacted and addressed my situation was an absolute credit to one and all. For one so young he possesses an absolute professionalism which I totally admire.
My words above do not sum up the gratitude and admiration for Mr Khan and the entire team, as without their rapid and professional experience the pancreatic cancer would not have been diagnosed and operated upon . I can whole heartedly say that my life was in Mr Khans hands and I would not he here today recovering and looking forward to my future without his actions.
From the first time I met Mr Khan, I found him to be extremely caring. Anytime I visited his clinic I found it to be highly professional, very reassuring, very relaxing making sure that what Mr Khan was talking about came across in lemans terms. If he were in any doubt, he would do a sketch of his explanation. My family and I were very impressed with the level of care I received from Mr Khan and his team.
I was admitted to UCHW following 65 nights at George Eliot Hospital in Nuneaton. It is fair to say that I was not expected to survive my condition, having developed acute necrotic pancreatitis, sepsis and pneumonia following an ERCP day procedure at the Nuneaton Hospital.
I was under the care of Mr Khan and his superb team for 128 days, starting off on life support in the intensive care unit, before being moved to extended care and then finally a general ward. Mr Khan was in charge of my care and recovery throughout the whole time and it is fair to say that it is entirely due to his care, knowledge and expertise that I am fit and healthy today.
After my initial discharge, I was readmitted twice to the University Hospital, both times under the care of Mr Khan due to complications but each time I was comfortable in the knowledge that I was in safe hands.
I am completely aware that I was a very challenging patient, both medically and personally, but there is no doubt that I owe my current excellent good health to the care I received from this exceptional consultant.
