I was appointed as a consultant Ear Nose and Throat in 2011, and have a specialist practice primarily managing patients with problems affecting the ears and side of the head. My primary NHS base is at Guys Hospital, where I lead the ENT department, but also work in the NHS at both Kings College Hospital and at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Sq, in conjunction with their neurosurgery units. I see private patients at the Shard and at the Queen Sq private rooms. My practice is primarily managing Adult patients, but I do treat children with complex ear and skull base disorders, both in the NHS and privately. Areas of particular interest are the surgical correction of hearing loss and ear diseases, management and surgery of disorders of the ear, facial nerve and lateral skull base including vestibular schwannoma (acoustic neuroma) and parotid surgery, cochlear implants and the management of facial palsy.
