I had "Visionaire Total Knee Replacement" in June 2021 carried out by Mr. Clifton at the Fitzwilliam Hospital, Peterborough. From the initial consultation to the final post-operation in January 2022 Mr. Clifton showed a caring and kind nature and genuine care to me. The whole operation was a total success and has given me a new "lease of life". I was back to walking without any aid within 6 weeks !!. Mr. Clifton is a talented surgeon his surgical skills are without doubt beyond reproach and I am extremely grateful to him and I can genuinely recommend him. Thank you

Knee replacement carried out after 12 months of severe pain. Mr Clifton was very understanding and went into great detail explaining the operation and recovery. All went to plan and I felt totally at ease due to his expertise.

At my initial consultation Mr Clifton fully explained what would be involved in my proposed total knee replacement. He explained any potential risks (which were minimal), the benefits, and the need for me to subsequently do my part with ongoing physiotherapy. I followed his advice to the letter, and now have a fully functioning knee, which has allowed me to return to the activities which previously I was unable to do. I have now walked five miles without any problems (previously 50M was difficult), and I am back to my motorcycling! My only suggestion is in regard to exactly what is covered in the privately funded package for this procedure - I was not aware, for example, that the follow up physiotherapy sessions were included, until it became obvious no payments were being requested.
