Felt the Dr understood my pain fully and that he was aware of my work issues being self employed. Couldn't have asked for a better Dr.

Mr Clifton was very clear about the nature and risk involved with a total knee replacement which helped me greatly in making the decision to go ahead with the surgery. The operation has been a great success, I was pain free within a very short time and walking without aids within 5 weeks. Now, at 7 months post op, I can walk distance with no discomfort, I can run and I can kneel. This operation and Mr Clifton's skill has changed my life. I can wholly recommend Mr Clifton to anyone thinking about a total knee replacement. His work plus the guidance from the physios [pre and post op daily exercise is essential] has been excellent. Thank you very much, Mr Clifton.

His explanation of my knee problems and the diagnosis were very clear. The treatment options were all explained fully and i was able to make a fully informed choice. The operation went as expected and the subsequent convalescence was also exactly as predicted. My new knee is working as well as promised and nine months after the surgery there have been no complications. Job done, I'm very happy with the result.

Advice needs to be given that constipation after surgery can happen, in my case so severe paramedics had to be called during the night followed by an emergency GP appointment. I was at least two weeks recovering from this most terrifying and painful ordeal and so unnecessary.
