I had a knee replacement which gave me my life back. I was made to feel at ease and has given me the confidence to have the other knee done in the future. Great staff and very well looked after. Thankyou mr clifton.
I was referred to Mr Clifton by another consultant as he said, he’s the man who can sort out your knee!
On initial consultation, Mr Clifton explained the options for my knee and said he would decide on the operating table whether a partial or full knee replacement was best for me. After a couple of delays, my operation on the Saturday morning could not have gone smoother. Mr Clifton came to see me before the operation to clarify what he was hoping to do and I trusted his judgement totally and felt at ease about the procedure. He even looked at re-entering the knee if possible, where I had previously had surgery. I left this decision to him once he decided which replacement to do. I then stood up that afternoon totally pain free after over two years and remain the same. I am so grateful for my partial knee replacement which has given me back full mobility. I would highly recommend Mr Clifton, on my 6 month sign off, his words, go live your life now meant so much to me, A true professional at his job!

Having a knee replacement is a concerning time, but from the time I met Mr Clifton he put my mind at ease and explained the whole procedure. He had time to listen. After the operation he was there to answer any concerns I might have. The actual operation was nothing to worry about, and I was soon home.
At the last consultation, 6 months later he was very pleased, and more to the point so was I! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mr Clifton to anyone requiring knee surgery.
My only suggestion would be to ask the patient if they feel ready to go home, rather than send them home early.
He could well be the goat, when I was down and out he stepped in and saved me, my knee was finished I could move then bam, one touch of his magic hands and I was back on my feet. What a legend
