Mr Clifton has completed both TKR on me . With out any problems he has a confidence that shines in his work, I can say this as I was awake during both my procedures. He obviously has so much experience and enjoys using his abilities to promote the health of others.. I personally had so much confidence in his highly qualified ability and was at ease during my operations. Great sense of humour too, which helped to relax me a lot. Thank you Mr Clifton. Bless

I came to Mr Clifton after having Meniscal surgery & receiving pain management injections for the previous year at another hospital. I was feeling no relief from the surgery and symptoms remained the same despite what the consultant was telling me. Mr Clifton was my last hope and I explained the history with my knee and he suggested I have another MRI. He managed my expectations and explained that it was unlikely that the tear is still there as I had recently had surgery but said to do the MRI and then we can go from there. I think we were both surprised when the results stated that I still had a large meniscal tear and cysts surrounding it. I was booked in for surgery quickly. I was treated very well from the get go and reassured about my knee and its recovery. Post surgery my recovery was so fast no crutches on day two and mobile enough to make myself food and shower etc.. I was so happy. Only Ibuprofen to relieve the pain.This was not the case in the previous surgery I was in incredible pain and the recovery was so slow I had to be taken care of by family. Mr Clifton & team managed my expectations and said pretty much full recovery would take 3 months and he was right. Some minor swelling but thats it. I am back in the gym lifting weights, walking with no pain what-so ever. Walked 9 miles with no issue only some swelling. I had been in terrible pain for 4 years so being able to do simple things like walk has been amazing. I am very grateful and thankful. What I have learnt in the last 4 years is. Listen to your body. You know your body better than anyone and if something doesn't feel right then you keep going until its fixed. Trust yourself. Mr Clifton and his team are excellent and I would 100% recommend

Mr Clifton performed a knee replacement on my 86 year old mother. Right from the start he was excellent with her. Explained everything and extremely patient with her. Did a fantastic job on the knee replacement. Would have no hesitation in recommending him at all.

Mr Rupert Clifton is an exceptional surgeon, he is calm, reassuring and makes time to answer your concerns and explains truthfully what you should expect from your surgery. This really make the whole decision making easier. I feel so very lucky to have been referred to Mr Cliftons care and you could not find a better knee surgeon anywhere. The extra bonus is Mr Cliftons secretary is kind and makes sure all messages are past on in a timely fashion. Now 7 weeks post op I can drive, go for walks and more importantly after 3 years sleep soundly. Thank You Mr Clifton.
