This gentleman is an amazing surgeon who saved my life. I was admitted in June 2023 and diagnosed with Necrotizing Fasciitis. Mr Gurprashad insisted on an MRI to diagnose and within a very short time I was sent for life saving surgery which he did twice. He even visited me on the ward to see how I was a couple of times. Such a gentleman and I will be forever indebted to him

Dr Gurprashad was fantastic. The appointment was for my son, (who is five) at complete ease. He was very welcoming and funny! I’ve left the appointment feeling really happy with the outcome and a clear plan moving forward. My son had a wonderful time and asked if we could go back tomorrow!!! A truly great doctor!

I feel that Dad could not have received better care. This wonderful consultant gave Dad the news that he is terminally ill, as if talking to a family member. I couldn't have asked for the news to have been delivered in a better way. This consultant's approach is, I believe, very much in line with Dad's beliefs and wishes and my own. Please thank him from both of us. Obviously I am the patient's daughter.

Mr Roy Gurprashad was brilliant with my son Thomas. Tom found him to be very funny, which resulted in Tom feeling at ease and comfortable with him and no longer concerned about what might happen. He went into great depth and detail about the upcoming procedure and made us feel confident that Tom will be in great hands. What an asset he is to the NHS. Tom is happy and confident that Mr Gurprashad will be doing his surgery and is looking forward to laughing with him again!
