Had a total knee replacement under the care of Mr Michaud in January 2024. I cannot fault my care from Mr Michaud and his team, including his very helpful secretary. Had heard of many going to Wrightington for their surgeries but in my opinion FGH could not have been bettered. The staff on the orthopaedic unit were excellent as was the supported discharge physio team. Many thanks to you all.

Finally got to see an orthopaedic doctor after waiting over 12 months . I thought it would be just a talk about the problem but he done everything in one appointment, physical, xray and results in one day . And explained every detail good and bad in my care plan . He explained in a way I'd understand and not medical jargon like alot of consultants . I'm not looking forward to the hip replacement but I feel confident I will make a full recovery if Dr Michaud does the operation ..

Absolute gentleman. He is so nice. He's also a great surgeon. Very thorough and keeps you informed. His secretary is also lovely. He has been looking after my ongoing arthritis pains and I trust him.
