I met with Mr Shetty in November 2022 when having spent a number of years coping with leg and back pain it was then impacting on my general wellbeing, to such an extent that walking had become a problem. I was diagnosed with severe Stenosis and evidence of Degenerative Spondylolisthesis. Following a discussion with Mr Shetty where he gave me his time generously, and made every effort to advise me of the options available and the outcome of the surgery, I felt total confidence in him and decided to go ahead with the operation. Prior to my operation, and following the death of my brother in the US, I was very involved dealing with his affairs as an executor. Mr Shetty’s understanding and compassion did go way beyond his duty as a Surgeon. For which I remain ever grateful to him. I had the operation on 13 February 2023 and even days later, felt the benefit. The surgery has been so successful that friends and family are completely surprised at my progress in such a short time. I do hope that I will never need further Orthopaedic Surgery but if I did, I could only rely on Mr Shetty’s extremely professional surgical experience.
