What a lovely man. What a great surgeon. I am very pleased with my frozen shoulder op recovery. He is so pleasant, explaining things very simply. I knew he was top of his game, and I was lucky to get him, but he always made me feel so utterly confident that I was in the best hands. But, I think its the little extras that make such a huge difference. He was respectful that I had had a battle to even get to see him, with a plethora of mistakes having been made in my case previously. He helped me arrange private physio's due to maybe not getting them on the NHS due to covid. He made sure that as a Type 1 diabetic I was prioritised as first on surgery list. He came to check on me post surgery and his bedside manner is as pleasant and comforting as the rest of his care. My surgery was a success. I am very pleased that I had him rather than any other surgeon. But it was the little extras that made the real difference. Not every surgeon has his skills, or his personal skills.

For a very long time l have suffered with aching shoulder and for a long time allbthe GP's offered was pain killers, this was not good for my health. I was finally was offered a scan on my right shoulder and it immediately identified l had a aggravated torn tendon. I was then referred to Ashford Hospital for treatment which lead to seeing Dr.Gupta. ln this time my left shoulder was also causing alot of discomfort. After CT scans on both shoulders it identified that my left shoulder was considerably worse. Dr.Gupta talked me through a Rotator Cuff surgery. After a blunder by the staff Dr.Gupta stopped surgery after l had signed the disclaimer in Dec 2019 after l had seen a cardiologist the week before. Finally in Nov 2020 l had the surgery and now 6 month on l feel the surgery has been very successful. I still may require surgery on my right shoulder but l would not hesitate to be referred back to Dr.Gupta.

Mr. Gupta has performed 2 operations to my left shoulder and I am very happy with the treatment I received. The first operation was in 2017 where he repaired my rotator cuff to the extent that I was able to go on and compete internationally at the 2019 Crossfit Games enabling me to finish 2nd in the Masters category. In July 2020 Mr. Gupta operated again on my left shoulder following a tear in my Supraspinatus. This operation has been extremely successful and I have regained full function back in my shoulder with hardly any residual pain. Mr. Gupta has been fully engaged with helping me achieve my sporting ambitions and fixing my shoulder from a point where I was unable to sleep back to full sporting function. I am very grateful for all of his help.
