Very thorough and professional. Took time to diagnose the issue with incredible detail.
The whole treatment provided at the Woking Nuffield was outstanding.
Following the operation, I regained mobility within days and was relatively pain free.
This was the second shoulder operation I have had and wish that I had seen Mr. Gupta the first time around.

I was introduced to Mr Gupta by Mr Tahir Ali (Consultant) in December 2021.
At our first meeting Mr Gupta understood immediately my problem and started the process of treatment.
I found the whole process from start to finish a smooth , well oiled experience.
Because I have an underlying problem Mr Gupta involved Mr Ali and the whole Team worked very well together to give me a very satisfying result.
I will be using Mr Gupta again if needed and would certainly recommend him.

he is very friendly and talks in a language that patients can understand. He thoroughly explained the procedure for the replacement PIP joint and what I could expect from it. After 3 months I have achieved a better result than expected, signed off from Hand therapy very quickly. I am pain free and have a great range of movement. The scar has healed very well and is barely visible.
We have discussed further treatments for my hand arthritis, but due to personal circumstances it is not right for me at the moment. He offered alternative steroid injection to try and alleviate pain and that has been booked already.
i am very pleased and would highly recommend him.

Mr Rohit Gupta, BSc(Hons), MBBS(Lond), FRCS(Eng), FRCS(Tr&Orth), is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Upper Limb surgery at Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Surrey since 2005. He provides NHS and private treatment for shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand complaints, both surgical and non-surgical. He considers it to be an immense privilege that he is regarded as the premier Upper Limb Specialist to consult in his part of the UK by his patients and peers alike.
He is internationally renowned for his advanced arthroscopic (keyhole surgery), upper limb trauma, and arthroplasty (joint replacement - primary and revision) skills.
His research interests are also exclusively in the upper limb.
