Professional and courteous. Bunion procedure clearly explained, together with potential complications and benefits. Plenty of time at the initial consultation to discuss the operation and questions clearly answered.
Procedure went very smoothly with excellent follow up care - very pleased with the result and the overall care from all involved.

Our son was under Mr Elliot's care for toe surgery (August 2015). The pre-admission service was first class by Mr Elliot's admin team- efficient, very speedy and kept fully informed at all times. Mr Elliot's care of our son (17 years old) was second-to-none. He explained fully to our son what would happen and treated him appropriately for his age. In the past our son had suffered with anxiety in a medical environment particularly pre-op but on this occasion felt totally relaxed. Mr Elliot was caring, honest and had a wonderful calming manner. We felt totally as ease and confident of his professional competence. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him. A first class service of the highest standard. We believe Mr Elliot to be one of the top foot/ankle/trauma surgeons in this field and our experience certainly supports that. Our sons recovery has been remarkable compared to previous operations, particularly scar tissue, end result of surgery.

Mr Elliot was quick to identify the procedure required to help me maintain an active lifestyle. All the information was easy to understand, I felt confident and safe with his skills and approach.
Aftercare was encouraging and supportive and I have no issues at all with the care I received from both Mr Elliot and the Hampshire Clinic and its staff.

Mr Elliot specialises in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery. He is also part of the on call trauma service and undertakes primary hip replacement surgery.
Mr Elliot studied Biochemistry at Oxford University before securing a place at St. Mary’s Hospital Medical School, London from where he graduated in 2000. Mr Elliot was awarded an HCA Travelling Scholarship in 2009 and spent a year in Brisbane working with renowned foot and ankle specialist Dr Terry Saxby before returning to the UK and taking up post at Basingstoke.
Mr Elliot is involved in research and education within the NHS.
