Sitting resting today after a knee arthroscopy yesterday, just wanted to say a big thank you to Rob and the whole team at Werndale for making the whole experience so relaxed and easy going. From start to finish, everything was handled so professionally, yet warm and welcoming. In at 7.30 am, home at 4.30pm. Slept well last night and haven’t used any of the painkillers supplied, can’t believe it been so painless. I’ll be back for my hip replacement later in the year. Cheers all

Dear Mr Yate, Re TKR on 2nd March 2020. Just a big thank you for performing my knee replacement op and am happy to confirm all is going ok considering the terrible situation we are in. Unfortunately I was unable to take up any physio at Amman Valley due to the lockdown but am persevering at home . My scar has healed nicely but still got some stiffness but I expect early days yet. I am so grateful for being admitted before this horrible virus struck and now able to recover safely st home. May I thank you once again and kindly pass on my grateful thanks to all staff involved especially the lovely nurses on Ward 6 who made my stay so pleasant. Mr Yate replaced my right knee in 2010 and this guy is the best.I did have a second opinion shortly after but this was out of frustration with the healing process.I needed to be patient and it was about 2 years before things settled down. I am still working as a Postman walking miles everyday but if it wasn't for Mr Yate I would now be disabled. Thank you.
