I arrived at Mr Winterton's office on the first ever appointment and I knew from the first few minutes how the whole process would go. Mr Winterton understood every single reason why I wanted my otoplasty operation. Although I was 16 and still technically a child, Mr Winterton and his team treat me like an adult throughout the full process of pre ops, post ops and the actual operation. He was comforting in the office and listened to my reasoning aswell as my worries about the operation. On the day of the operation, he took every step possible to make sure it went smoothly, including his team who stayed by my side and made sure I was okay throughout. The actual operation was quick and he also spoke to me to let me know every step he took during the operations so that I knew everything he was doing. at the post operation appointments I had, he praised how much better the ears looked whilst also telling me they still looked "like ears" too. I didn't feel him taking the stitches out a week later and also was very impressed with the results. I entered Mr Wintertons office lacking confidence and not liking my ears due to comments but now I can say Mr Winterton changed my life for the better. comments soon stopped and I became much mire confident In myself.

I met with Mr Winterton to discuss a breast reduction after suffering for years and finally finding the courage to do something about it. Mr Winterton was fantastic from my first appointment explaining everything and what was possible. I booked my date straight after my consult knowing I had definitely found the right person. On the day of the operation everything went to plan and I was amazed with the result even at that early stage. The difference this has made to me and my confidence is massive. I saw Mr Rob Winterton for a consultation for a tummy tuck with abdominal muscle repair in January 2023. After having two large babies (10lb 12oz and 9lb 5oz) with 2 c-sections followed by loosing 14 stone, I was left with a huge apron of skin and a very large abdominal muscle separation. The consultation process was easy and I found Rob very approachable, calm and considerate but also honest and open about the results he could achieve. Rob explained all my options, chatting through the positives and negatives of each option. I decided to have a FDL 360, and booked this in for August 2023. On the day of surgery, I had concerns over my blood pressure, as I have 'white coat syndrome' but Rob, his team and the fantastic anaesthetist put my mind at ease. The surgery went well and I was discharged the following day. About 10 days post-op I had a couple of complications - I had an allergic reaction to the glue used on my incisions and also developed an infected seroma around my back. Issues that are very common and not at all Rob's doing. But I wanted to highlight this as Rob's aftercare is fantastic - within 1.5hours of phoning the hospital with a suspected infection on a Sunday teatime, Rob met me at the hospital, drained the fluid and provided antibiotics. He then saw me regularly in his clinic for further treatment. All of these follow up appointments were included in the package and the level of care from Rob was exemplary. I am 6 months post-op now and I have fully recovered and I am back to all exercise and activities. My incisions have healed beautifully and my results are very natural and neat. Rob has changed my life and I will be forever grateful. If I do decide to have further surgeries for skin removal in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to go with Rob again.

I visited Rob due to having previous surgery elsewhere which unfortunately hadn’t gone as planned so my case was a very complex case. I had seen 4 surgeon reviews prior to meeting Rob who all stated they wouldn’t be able to help rectify the damage the previous surgeon had caused. I visited Rob as a last resort and went in thinking Rob would say very similar. As soon as I met Rob he was so welcoming and listened to my journey and then examined me, he was open and honest and immediately I felt I had a huge amount of trust in him. He was so informative and it was clear he was very experienced in his decision making. He told me he wouldn’t be able to ‘ make it perfect’ but he felt he could improve the overall look. Which I really appreciated as he wasn’t feeding me false expectations. I felt no pressure what so ever to have the surgery and he gave me time to consider the options whilst he discussed my case with other people in the field to see if they were able to offer any other suggestions or recommendations. Rob really gave me some hope to what I’d previously been told was not achievable. I went back to see Rob a couple of times before the actual surgery for him to confirm his plan and be sure we both knew the expectations. Rob was always so friendly and made me feel at ease. Both him and Vicki who arranged all my appointments and surgery date were so helpful and any query I ever had was always answered ( even when Vicki was on AL) she was the most loveliest of people to deal with, she was so accommodating and always free to help and assist. When in clinic she was very friendly and warm welcoming. I had my surgery in August 2023- following my previous surgery’s I had had a number of infections along with many other complications so I was so apprehensive. I met Rob in the morning prior to the surgery where again I just felt so confident in his decisions that I could relax and hope the results would be an improvement like he had said. This was what felt like my last resort. I had the surgery and came back to the ward, as expected I experienced some pain but nothing too bad and Rob came and reviewed me not long after and ensured the pain was managed effectively. I was discharged with a very clear plan of care and follow up. The whole process was smooth, the staff were so attentive. Nothing was too much trouble and I left happy with the experience but unsure of the results at this stage. I am now 4 months post op and I can confidently say Rob has changed my life, the results are Much better than I could have ever imagined, I was unable to take my children swimming, or wear certain underwear/ garments/ tops but now I can do all of the above. Rob told me from the beginning that he could only ever ‘improve’ the overall look due to my previous surgery with another surgeon going wrong and he could never get perfection but actually Rob has managed to complete a massive improvement and to me this has had a huge impact on my life for the better. Without Robs input and him taking this risk to operate I honestly don’t know what I would have done. I will be forever grateful to Rob and the team for helping me in what felt like an impossible situation. My only regret is that I never went to Rob for my original surgery as I know I would have had perfection from the start, his work is second to none and if I was to have any further surgery I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I would and have recommended Rob to everyone I know thinking of undergoing any cosmetic surgery. Thank you so much Rob and team for changing my life.
