I was recommended Mr Winterton by a close friend. At my initial consultation he made me feel relaxed, comfortable and at ease. He listened to my concerns and the reasons why I wanted the surgery and he gave me his honest advice and discussed at length the process, operation, recovery time and the results I could expect. I never felt rushed or nervous and I felt confident that he would be able to correct my issues which I had from a previous operation. He ran through the legalities and possible side effects which are possible with any surgery and then I had the examination. He reassured me and sketched a few diagrams to highlight the root cause and how he proposed to correct it. He then gave me a few available dates for me to consider and advised me to take time to digest what we had discussed. Once I was happy to proceed I had the contacts details to arrange the operation. The whole process went very smoothly and a date was arranged. The hospital staff were amazing and very king putting me at ease. I had a local anaesthetic (which I wasn’t looking forward to) and it was fine. I didn’t feel a thing. Two nurses and Mr Winterton were very attentive throughout the operation and I didn’t feel a thing. Following the operation and stitches I rested a while and then my husband collected me. I had a follow up appointment the week after to check my dressing and then another at one month and then six months. I can’t thank him & his staff enough, they are amazing. The operation has made a massive difference to me and I am so glad I went through with it. Thanks

I have now had 2 procedures carried out by Mr Winterton and I cannot fault the extremely high level of care both before and after the operations. To say the operations have changed my life is an understatement. I just wish I had had the opportunity years ago. Mr Winterton and his team go above and beyond to make their patients feel valued and confident that they will get first class care at all times. The results speak for themselves. I’m now 9 months post surgery with Rob, and I couldn’t be happier with my results! Rob was very realistic and honest throughout all of my assessments, pre and post op chats. On the day, he put me at ease and I knew I was in safe and capable hands. Rob has a very professional yet approachable and friendly manner. A special shout out to Vicki and the rest of Robs team also! I couldn’t fault any of the care and support that I received. Met with Rob Winterton to discuss a Blespharoplasty on upper eye lids. From the start he made me feel totally at ease. From the beginning he explained the procedure and expectations fully and in a highly professional manner. Had the procedure carried out at The Alexandra Hospital, Cheadle.
