I can only comment on his character and manor in the meeting I had with him, he was not my treating consultant thankfully. I found his communication with me to be rude and that he was not listening to me. I was repeatedly told I was obese and that was my only issue. I was made to feel uncomfortable and embarrassed for the whole 2 hours I spent with him which could have been 30mins if he had been able to use his computer. He repeatedly got details wrong about me, quoting things from other people's cases and then when I corrected him he just carried on regardless without acknowledgement of the fact he was talking about the wrong person! Considering I was a private patient who'd paid a considerable amount of money to see him I was subjected to body shaming from start to finish. I left upset and feeling worse about things. What sort of a world is it if your made to feel like this by a doctor?... I'd gone for help and been treated like dirt.
