Robert Hone is a Consultant ENT surgeon at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust and has over 10 years surgical experience. He trained throughout South East England, rotating through ENT units in London, Kent, Surrey and Sussex. He undertook a prestigious, nationally appointed Advanced Head & Neck Surgical Oncology Fellowship at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead. He completed his paediatric ENT training at Great Ormond Street Hospital for children. During training, he completed a Masters of Surgery, for which he attained a Distinction as well as all necessary post graduate exams. He qualified from Guy’s, Kings and St Thomas’ Hospital School of medicine in 2008 and completed an intercalated Batchelor of Science degree in Physiology in 2005. Robert Hone believes in the highest standard of care and places patients at the centre of the consultation and decision making process. He takes time to listen and explore patients concerns and symptoms via a thorough history and examination. His communication and surgical skills have consistently been highlighted as areas of excellence throughout the annual appraisals process. The care he provides is of the highest standard.

Mr. Hone took the time to listen to my daughters symptoms and make recommendations for the best way forward. He was friendly and approachable and made everyone feel comfortable in the appointment and with the plan to move forward.
