I had a new hip under Mr Carew. Although he seemed a little distant at first he warmed to myself and my wife and we struck up a good relationship. The surgery went very well, with no after effects 10 months in I would strongly recommend him. Trick is I would suggest - do what the physio tells you post op - it may be very difficult at first but you have to exercise to bring back the lost muscles etc.
