Mr Corns took great care to explain all aspects with regard to the operation. He gave me the confidence to proceed. The outcome was amazing and all pain from neck to hand was gone. I now have my life back. Thank you so much Mr Corns.

I cannot praise Mr Robert Corns highly enough, not only for his fantastic expertise as a very fine surgeon but for the whole patient experience. Mr Corns is so approachable, friendly, reassuring and a great listener - an abolute pleasure to deal with and a breath of fresh air in that nothing is too much trouble and you can't help but feel that you are in an extremely safe pair of hands, which indeed you are. Mr Corns has successfully treated and fixed (by means of pedicle screw fixation surgery) what was an extremely painful and debilitating spinal problem, emanating from two prolapsed discs and I will always be eternally grateful to him for freeing me up to get on with my life again.

I am currently under many consultants from rheumatologist to pain to neurosurgeons. Mr Corns is by far the nicest, patient friendly Dr I have ever come across. He speaks to you as if you really matter, in plain English and ensures you understand and every turn. I would gladly recommend him to anybody.

I was diagnosed with a spinal tumour after over a year of pain in my leg at night, through an MRI scan. It was probably a neuroma and I was listed to be operated on by Mr Robert Corns under the NHS. He carried out the op with his team on the 9th of April 2018. He had discussed the small risks of adverse outcomes but had reassured me that the likelihood of them coming to fruition were very small. I went under with a small amount of trepidation and was glad to see that I had very little debilitation post op. Besides the routine pain at the operation site, I had a numb left thigh and weakness in the left leg. I was strong enough to be discharged the very next day!! I put this down to the skill of Mr Corns. 9 days later, my original nocturnal pain has gone and my numbness is improving. The left leg is getting stronger and stronger and I feel it wont be long before I am as close to 100% as one can be. It is all down to the skill with which Mr Corns performed the operation. I dont have sufficeint vocabulary to articulate my gratitude towards him.
