I saw Dr Windhaber for suspected thrombophlebitis in my arm. He was thoroughly pleasant, professional and reassuring. I was also able to see him very quickly at the Duchy Hospital. I really am grateful to him and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to one and all. I wish all doctors were like him!

Rob Windhaber deserves more than a five star rating! During my initial consultation Mr Windhaber was informative, clear and answered all questions which arose. I felt very at ease ahead of my surgery. Both surgery and follow up consultations were first rate. I was supported throughout the process and confident with both Mr Windhaber's professional skill, knowledge and sensitive approach. To know that I could contact him at any time with concerns was extremely helpful as I did need to get in touch at one point. He promptly responded and my queries were answered - again, giving me peace of mind. This level of care and support is truly superb. Along with first class treatment, being able to have your consultant take time not only to listen, but to hear, makes a huge difference. I also have to say that his team of nurses too were exemplary and caring. I cannot thank Mr Windhaber enough.

I found Mr Windhaber to be: Approachable and friendly whilst always being professional All aspects of the procedure were explained in full beforehand and a clear outline of what to expect post procedure given, including aftercare During the procedure I was talked through what was happening and put completely at ease - the assisting nurse was also very good I was reassured by having full access to contact Mr Windhaber if I was concerned about anything All aspects of care at the Duchy by staff was also of a high standard All in all a very positive experience and I’m pleased with the outcome at the 6 week mark
