Reviews
Having read all the reviews available, I cannot agree more. Rob Gray is simply the best of doctors - caring, concerned, communicative, conscientious and extremely competent. I thank my lucky stars that he was there to diagnose and treat my problem.
Dr. Gray knows he is my "super-hero" because I told him and he self-effacingly asked his secretary "do I look like a super-hero?" I can't answer that, but I do know I shall forever be grateful to him in 2018 for prioritising a 78 year old for prostate laser surgery. Surgeons come in many guises - this one should have wings ! Gratitude does not age with time...... The expectation in the following questionnaire is ambitious showing up to 150 years of age. If anyone could help to achieve this, it is Dr. Gray !!
Our 3.5 year old boy ( grandson)was scared and reluctant to see any doctor, however he was taken in with his dad very quickly put at ease by mr Rob Gray. Mr Gray had a superb manner, very helpful. Cannot recommend highly enough. We were offered a telephone appointment with own G.P. in over two weeks for what we felt was a pressing issue.. We felt this was totally unacceptable so went to Chiltern hospital privately. Was worth it for the caring efficient service and more importantly the peace of mind given by Mr. Gray.
I have now been under Dr Gray's care twice in two years, both times for problems with bladder stones and issues with my bladder neck. I am today 2 days post surgery.
Dr Gray is simply fantastic.
He is so far removed from the typical consultant - he shares everything with you, shows you your scans, listens, takes his time, discusses options and always has your best interests at heart. He gives you choices and offers his expertise to allow you to make informed decisions about your health.
On the morning of my Op 2 days ago Dr Gray came and saw me in the morning- we discussed my options and he listened to my concerns, he knew what I did and didn't want to do, but until Dr Gray was in theatre he couldn't be sure what might be the best course of action. Having listened to me I went into surgery knowing 100% that he had my interests at heart. I had my operation at about 11am. At 9 pm that evening Dr Gray appeared in my room to see how I was doing !
Dr Gray is simply amazing.
He really cares and I simply can't Thank him enough !
I was diagnosed as having an enlarged prostate. I was admitted to WGH Urology on 11th June 2019 ad had a greenlight laser prostatectomy operation under Rob Gray. The preparation, operation and aftercare was faultless.
I was functioning normally after 4 weeks and able to do cycling, golf, walking etc after 6 weeks (and recently a very energetic family holiday with 7 teenage g/children). I have now been discharged by Mr Gray.
I am very appreciative and congratulate the whole team of medical and nursing staff for their skills, consideration and very helpful support.
