Mr Chana carried out a total hip replacement , he was brilliant all the way from the very first consultation. the communication and explanation all he way through the process has been great and I could not have wished it to any better. 100% recommendation.

I recently had a total knee replacement operation carried out by Mr Chana. I was in contact with him before I went into hospital, he came to see me on several occasions while I was an inpatient and I have had two follow up appointments since being discharged. He explained the operation clearly in language that I could understand, put me totally at ease and was genuinely interested to see how I was getting on afterwards. The whole procedure has been a complete success. I am now able to walk without pain, can drive again and have regained my independence. I have had no complications but feel confident that if I had he would have taken any concerns seriously. I am totally happy with the treatment I have received and would wholeheartedly recommend him.

For many years I have struggled with osteoarthritis and by May of this year I was virtually immobile due to the pain in my left knee when trying to walk. Luckily my daughter had a friend who had a hip replacement by Mr. Chana and she highly recommended him. During my initial consultation with Mr. Chana he told me that I had to have a full joint replacement, which I was trying to avoid, but his calming and reassuring manner put me at ease. The operation was carried out at the Spire Hospital. He was very attentive in his after care including phoning my daughter once the operation was completed. From the day after the operation I have been pain free and now 12 weeks I am walking normally thanks to Mr. Chana's care.

I suffer with osteoarthritis and 4 years ago, I had a hip replacement which left me with the operated leg longer than my other one which meant I had a significant limp. Last year, I was in excruciating pain with my other hip and was housebound as I had problems walking from one room to another. I was referred to Mr Chana who put me at ease as soon as I walked into his surgery, he listened to me and after looking at my X rays and examining me, told me I needed a total hip replacement. During that first consultation, Mr Chana also remarked on my limp and said that when he operates on my hip, he would do his very best to make my legs level. He was very easy to talk to and asked if I had any questions, at which point he booked my admission date. I had my surgery on 22nd March and Mr Chana visited me on the ward the same day. He said the surgery went well and to look down at my legs. To my amazement, my legs were level, I could not believe it. My recovery went well and I cannot thank Mr Chana enough for what he did for me. He is such a very kind, dedicated and charming man and I would highly recommend him, he goes to the very top in my estimation.
